Katherine coordinates volunteers to support Academy events in Sydney, and after having helped create such a successful Peace event with a team of others from both Sydney and Byron recently, she now has this to say about her role.

It’s an honour and a privilege to have commenced a service role with the Academy in April 2009.

I’d attended a few healing nights at a centre in Balmain when I heard people talking about an upcoming event, Sundarah, and instantly I couldn’t wait to attend. Sundarah! I just loved every minute of it and every person I met. Qala’s wisdom and teaching resonated with me - this is what I’d been asking for and the universe delivered – big time!

During Sundarah, service was mentioned, and as I talked with others and watched how everyone worked together to make this event possible, my heart felt a strong calling to be of service.

A Day in the World Service Centre by Ocha Sheehan

A tall dark haired young man with a German accent enters the foyer looking a little baffled as Amanda greets him. He looks into the large crystal altar in the middle of the Lotus teaching room, takes in a deep breath, then fixes his gaze up at the rainbow ceiling of the Lotus room, and his face lights up, as he realises why he was drawn here. Like many visitors to the Centre, he explains that he did not really know where he was going or why, but he was guided to just drive around until he found what it was that he was meant to see. Today is his lucky day because it is Tuesday, and he can soak in the free healing that we offer to the community each week, or join one of the other Lotus room events. He decides to sit for a while and soak in the love frequencies while we office angels prepare for our weekly teleconference office meeting with Mareesha.

Today I wear my office hat and will change over to my healing hat later. Our office team gathers around the teleconference phone with our laptops as we dial in to connect with Mareesha, our Executive Director, who lives in Noosa, 4 hours north of Byron Bay. She starts the meeting with a meditation to activate our group heart and connection to the golden chalice of the Divine University. This connection shifts my priorities for discussion as I feel the support of Spirit, and gently receive guidance that gives me a new and clearer perspective. Once again I am reminded of how amazing this is, to be able to work this way and to share with others who work in this way too. There is a lot to do today so it is very liberating to feel supported by Spirit to be very practical and grounded.

As we are finishing our agenda, the Energy Support team arrives to energise the healing programs held within the even larger altar of crystals in the God Presence room upstairs. They come twice a week in service and commune with the Enlightened Master healers to transmit powerful frequencies, with the assistance of the large crystals, to support all who call for healing through the University Project’s programs. We receive some of this too, as we sit behind our computers and hear them sounding and singing mantras. They also prepare the Lotus room for the evening healing event by clearing the energies, changing the candles and maintaining the central and corner altars. This makes a big difference to the giving and receiving during the group event.

What volunteer service has achieved together over a short 14 months for a start-up organisation is an inspiration. The challenge of this project has definitely not stopped this international group of people, who are connected through a vision and mission to establish world peace on Earth through opening hearts, sharing love, inspirational spiritual teachings and healings with all who would like to receive this.

• Four websites have been created, including the amazing Divine University site www.TheDivineUniversity.com; and the online store on the Divine University Project site is ready to be launched within weeks

• Healing nights are held in Byron Bay weekly – a collective of up to 12 healers has been offering healings to groups from 25 to 50 people

• We have already run a number of Qala Sri’ama’s programs (Illuminations, Devani, Sundarah and the Tantra Self Mastery School with Illumina as co-teacher), as well as programs offered by Zananda, (Journey to Innocence, Blessings from the Inner Sanctuary of the Enlightened Masters), Lelama (Your Divine Voice – Your Power of Creation), Ky’lama (Joy of the Heart), Kaliana (DNA Awakening; DNA Repatterning), Jon Rama (Wholly Men; Sacred Union – together with his partner Kaliana).

A Day in the Life of Mareesha Ma, Executive Director

Modern technology has integrated with passion and dedication on a global mission to join hearts and bring spiritual growth and understanding to students throughout the world as the Divine University Project and the Academy of Energy Science and Consciousness is established in Australia.

The benefits of modern technology and working from home is an all to common phenomenon today, but a few years ago I would never have thought that I would be instrumental in running a spiritual educational organisation from my home on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia.

The office of the Academy of Energy Science and Consciousness is three and a half hours drive away in Byron Bay and my colleagues are far flung, some in the Sydney region, others in the US and Hungary, France and Canada.
